End of Year: Looking back at 2023 and forward to 2024

As we turn the final pages of 2023, we want to pause with you to reflect on a year full of MyBuildAssist innovations. It was a year in which standing still was not an option, and we are proud of the steps we have taken. 

Whether it was about optimizing our services, listening to your valuable feedback, or taking on new challenges, one thing is certain: we have been anything but idle. Developments that we would like to highlight here: 

Looking back at 2023 

Integration with AFAS and Navision Dynamics
The successful integration of MyBuildAssist with ERP programs such as  Navision/Business Central and  AFAS zare, in our opinion, absolute highlights. The seamless integration brings numerous benefits, including the ability to immediately start projects from the integration with all relevant information, eliminating double entry, capturing option choices made by the clients, and synchronization that you can perform at any time (in addition to the daily automatic synchronization). This leads not only to a more efficient workflow but also to a reduction in failure costs.

Integration with Innobrix
The integration with Innobrix is another milestone we are very proud of. Thanks to this collaboration, the Innobrix residence configurator is integrated into the MyBuildAssist residence dossier. This means that clients can now assemble their future residence in 3D in real-time. The structural options are directly translated into the choice list in MyBuildAssist. This innovative addition makes the choice process for clients more visual and ensures an even better customer experience.


Looking forward to 2024
 

Our focus is already on 2024. Our roadmap for the coming year is imbued with ambition, innovation, and above all: your wishes and needs. We will work hard on developments that make a difference, so we can tailor MyBuildAssist even better to what you need. Therefore, keep an eye on our newsletters and LinkedInnext year as well!

Improving Messages and Actions
Communication is an important pillar within MyBuildAssist. To improve this functionality, we have compiled a nice list of development points, below are two examples. 

This year we introduced actions based on messages. After this first release (which was very well received), we will continue to develop this in 2024, where you will get a better insight into your own actions and can assign actions to colleagues. 

In addition, we will create the possibility to answer messages per question. This way, the question and answer are displayed together. 

Reminders
Currently, reminders of upcoming deadlines are only sent to clients. We want to ensure that these reminders can also be sent to project managers and other third-party project participants. 

Mobile
The experience on mobile devices (phone and tablet) will receive extra attention in 2024. We are working on an app that will also be available in the iOS App Store. 

Status of tickets from EdControls and Sta Software
We want to make the status of tickets in EdControls and Sta Softwarevisible within MyBuildAssist as well. This keeps clients optimally informed!

Where is my Tony Chocolonely?
At MyBuildAssist, we like to make a social contribution. Therefore, this year we made a special choice: we are foregoing the traditional Tony Chocolonely corporate gift and instead donating to the WensAmbulance foundation. WensAmbulance fulfills wish rides for adults and children who are seriously ill, bedridden, or in their final phase of life. We are convinced that this donation will have a positive impact. 

Closed for a Week
Between Christmas and New Year’s, we will be closed for a week. From Tuesday, January 2nd, we will be back, fresh and full of energy. In case of emergency, we are of course reachable.
