Securum is an independent project manager for new construction projects in Belgium. They form an indispensable link between the executing contractor and the clients. In June 2020, the first kickoff of the collaboration between Securum and MyBuildAssist took place with the new construction project Residence “Kruispunt” in Oud-Turnhout. Since then, Securum has managed multiple projects via the MyBuildAssist platform, to the full satisfaction of clients and contractors. The collaboration allows Securum to switch even more efficiently between clients and contractors.

“At the beginning, we had to invest some extra time to find our way around the platform, but it quickly became clear how user-friendly and well-structured MyBuildAssist is. We notice that almost all clients can handle it, from young to old. And if we have questions, we can always contact the helpdesk.” Kristl expects that the challenges for project managers will only increase in the future. “Higher workload due to a shortage of staff, prices that continue to rise, and incompetence in construction. There is more and more technical involvement, such as the ventilation requirement. As a result, options like lighting in the ceiling have to be made at a very early stage. A platform like MyBuildAssist helps us to manage such challenges effectively. It would be great if we could offer MyBuildAssist as a standard, Securum including MyBuildAssist”.
